Chris Koska,

If you feel depressed or overwhelmed by life and feel like you need to make a change but don’t know how, you’re not alone. I enjoy helping clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief and loss, adjustment issues, and life stress. I believe we can learn to solve our problems by exploring our “inner selves” and to accept and/or change our thoughts and actions. Therapy can help you become more self-aware and develop a better understanding of who you are and what you need. Overall, I hope to provide care to assist you in building a life worth living and to be "the main character in the story of your life."
I utilize an eclectic mix of Rational Emotive Behavior Theory (REBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailored to each client’s individual needs. My counseling approaches are uniquely designed to best fit young adults, adults and geriatric clients. In addition to individual counseling, I also provide Couples Counseling. I have immediate openings for in-person and telehealth appointments. I provide an emotionally safe, supportive, and open environment that invites client collaboration in order to build a strong client-therapist rapport, and I connect with my clients through respect, honesty, compassion and humor. My goal is to support you in this process and help you find the tools that work for you. In my spare time, I enjoy following most sports, listening to music and going to concerts, traveling, watching movies and spending time with my wife and cat. |
